Show off your vote with the 7-Election presidential cups

MANILA, Philippines – With less than 5 weeks to go before the nationwide polls, Filipinos are slowly making their final choice on which leaders to vote for. Many have already expressed their thoughts via commissioned surveys and through social media.

Now, convenience store chain 7-Eleven has brought back #7Election, a campaign that allows people to show support for their candidates and spread awareness for the upcoming elections through their Presidential GULP Cups. MAKE YOUR CHOICE. A PROVEN SUCCESS. Emmanuel Lee Esguerra says that following the success of the previous 7-Election, Philippine Seven Corporation is confident that they can make this year’s campaign even more successful thanks to social media

During the launch held at the BOUNCE Events ground last April 1, Philippine Seven Corporation’s Marketing Communications Head Emmanuel Lee Esguerra shared that buying the GULP cups is a fun way to show off who you’re supporting in the upcoming elections. It also encourages even the youth who aren’t eligible to vote to make their voice heard. “However, this is an unofficial and informal poll,” he clarified.

CHOICES. Each purchase of the Presidential GULP Cups counts as one ‘vote’ on 7-Eleven’s unofficial 7-Election tally page

TRANSPARENCY. Members from the media choose their cups. Receipts indicate which Presidential Cup you purchased, which the customer has to verify before leaving the store  

EVEN THE UNDECIDED CAN HAVE THEIR SAY. Tuesday Vargas hosted the 7-Election launch. For those who still don’t know who they’re voting for, there is an ‘undecided’ cup available

What makes the poll even more exciting is that customers can check the 7-Elections website to check who is winning the race in terms of most Presidential GULP Cups purchased.

UNOFFICIAL POLL. Achilles Martinez, Team Lead for Gulp and Slurpee, shares that the daily results from each area are shown on the website, while weekly results are shown in stores every Friday
