MANILA, Philippines – Filipinos are no strangers to turning around a challenging situation.
If they are given a space too small, for instance, their creativity and resourcefulness comes into play. These days, with advanced technology, spaces are becoming more flexible and conducive to creative executions. Filipinos can now tap a wide array of choices when it comes to venues for all types of events, such as outdoor gardens, rentable office spaces or even ballrooms equipped with technology.
The Marriott Grand Ballroom is the largest ballroom in Manila. The space is a new competitor in an emerging MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) industry, offering 28 versatile rooms with 6 VIP sky boxes. Its main ballroom measures 3,000 sqm and can accommodate 2,500 to 4,000 guests and comes with 1,505 underground parking spaces.

It was launched with a series of events last July to show off what the space has to offer. Concerts, parties and weddings are more than welcome. The main ballroom boasts of vertical partitions controlled by SkyFold Technology that can divide the main ballroom for more intimate events.
Wedding of your dreams
Celebrated Filipino fashion designers Rajo Laurel, Rhett Eala, Jun Escario, JC Buendia, Frederick Peralta and Randy Ortiz came together and showcased their bridal designs last July 6 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. There were traditional white dresses as well as eclectic, colorful pieces that made the show even more attention grabbing. Carefully crafted headpieces were also spotted in several collections.
It was a night of good company, memorable conversations and a fashion show to end all fashion shows. Watch the video above and take a peek at the up and coming premiere events venue in the Metro. – Rappler.com
