MANILA, Philippines – Resorts World Manila (RWM) is committed to ensuring a brighter future for the country by investing in today’s youth, the future professionals and leaders of our land.

On December 8, RWM, through the Resorts World Philippines Cultural Heritage Foundation (RWPCHF), and in partnership with the local government of Urdaneta and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), turned over a newly completed 24-classroom and 4-storey school building to Urdaneta City University. Said building will be used to house general education classes of the university and includes 100 computer units and a 500-KVA generator set.

“Resorts World Manila believes in today’s generation and is happy to provide modern, world-class learning facilities so that students may continue to nurture their dreams and hopefully in future contribute to a better Philippines,” said Atty. Gina Alvarez, Chief Legal Officer, RWM.

Earlier in the week, RWPCHF also launched a Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Project in Davao City intended to lead victims of the country’s drug menace to once again become functional members of society.

“To date, RWPCHF has provided more than one hundred twenty classrooms and thirty computer laboratories in various public elementary and high schools all over the country, and supported poor but talented students in the field of performing arts by providing scholarships and financial grants in their chosen universities,” Alvarez said.
